It's been raining in my place these past few days. I like it. It's actually quite refreshing. Water for the land! LOL :))
On a side note, I've been addicted to the song "Sweater Weather" by The Neighbourhood. I've been playing it on repeat a million times now!
'Cause it's too cold
For you here and now
So let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater
Alongside that, I love me some John Mayer and (yes, call me an old soul) some Michael Bublé too. <3
Ah, nothing beats just being lazy inside the house and the outside agreeing with you! Haha!

Lunch was pretty awesome.
I'm not a vegetable person, but I do love vinaigrette. As you can see, my plate has a MOUND of lettuce and other what-nots that make salad life so exciting! :))
And the pumpkin soup to the right was heaven!
Then grilled fish in asdfghjk (can't remember the name!) sauce for the main course.
My lovely family with whom I shared this wonderful meal with.
(I have no photos though.)
"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again."
― Eric Roth, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button screenplay
In the past year, I was very conflicted. I have had some tough choices to make -- some were probably the right ones, and some not so. I have never seen the Benjamin Button movie (haha, very lame of me), but as I read this quote, I felt very inspired to do the things that I did not have the opportunity to do before. And I will do them; approach them with a better outlook, a better spirit, and a better attitude.
Happy new year, everyone!
It's 2014, yay!
I hope this year will be an amazing one for us all!
What are your goals for the the big two-oh-one-four?
P.S. Does anyone know how to get rid of that awful gray-ish background I have on my header and some of my photos? :|

I used to think that the Starbucks Christmas drinks were too mainstream for my perhaps half-indie self, but lately I seem to find myself very much enjoying one of their special seasonal concoctions.
The Toffee Nut Latte.
Ahh, where do I even begin to describe this? It's got a rich nutmeg base, a little (fattening but absolutely delightful) whipped cream layer, and a sprinkle of caramel salts on top! Isn't it just perfection? I don't know, but it is just happiness in a cup for me. Haha!
One can get this during the non-holidays too, but I think you'd have to specifically instruct the baristas of the mix.
Toffee Nut Latte (or just those red cups in general) tells me that it's a day closer to Christmas. Wow! A beverage can do so much, no? LOL.
What's your favourite holiday food or drink?
